In 1952, the company’s founder Nathan Swarts acquired Abington shoes 50% shares in the company, then in 1955, Nathan bought the rest of the shares and the second generation took over the company, then in the following 10 years, it grew as the most successful shoe-making industries. In 1973, Swartz family established Timberland brand in the 70 s, he took the unique shoe-making technology in the world, producing the first pair of bottom and stitches completely close shoes, making the real meaning of waterproof shoes.
