Why do young cops pull over everything they see ie; seat belts and california rolls?
and older veteran cops do not bog down with pettyness all day long like the rookies do. Aren’t rookie cops trained to not bog down with seat belt tickets and other petty tickets all day long?
In a big city, we don’t have time to chase Sh!t all day but the rookies seem to think it’s ok….i guess they will learn eventually.
Many states now passed a law years ago stating that every person in a motor vehicle must be wearing a seat belt,no matter if it’s the driver,or a passenger.Therefore,if someone in a vehicle isn’t wearing a seat belt,the officer definitely has reason to stop you,and can issue everyone in the car a citation if the officer wanted to.
I think that some rookie officers like to pull people over a lot more than the veteran officers,but they will grow out of it.And remember,many veteran guys are up there in the ranks,meaning that they spend most of their shift in the officer working on paperwork,and not on the streets.
