Whats the secret to rolling a sleeping bag up so it fits in the bag you bought it in?
I just can’t get it back in the bag & I need to as I hardly have any storage space! Thanks.
Hang your sleeping bag on a hook or a hanger in your closet or storage room. The ONLY time your sleeping bag should be rolled or stuffed into it’s bag is when you are using it to travel. A higher quality sleeping bag usually comes with the stuff sack and a storage bag. You could use the storage bag, but hanging it up someplace dry and dark is your best bet.
Only a few sleeping bags (slumber bags) get rolled. Most just get stuffed back into the bag.
Other storage options: Place sleeping bag into a long rubbermaid container that fits under the bed or a short container where it can be stacked with other storage boxes.
Your best bet is the closet. If you have no room, it’s time you got rid of some old clothes you don’t wear anymore. EVERYONE has stuff in their closet that can be donated to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. It’s almost spring…clean out the closet!
