Handbag and accessories portfolio?

i want to put together a portfolio of handbags and accessories as i am hoping to be a fashion designer, designing handbags, purses, wallets and accessories to go on the bags. I have none of my own work yet as i haven’t started the business.

First of all, in order to make a proper presentation, you need prototypes of the bags and accessories you are going to be making. You have none so there is no point of even developing a portfolio when there are no samples for potentials buyers or even employers to see your talents and vision. You should have protypes AND professionally drawn sketches of the items you want in your collection. Once you have those, you need to present these in a way to convey that your items are unique in the market (why is your handbag line better or different than let’s say Kooba handbags, what makes your handbag line unique, describe how you would manufacture your goods). You should also have a segment where you discuss cost and profit margin (this you need to discuss with an accountant or a financial advisor).
