Place drops of tea tree oil in bottom of PUL diaper liner?
I’ve read that tea tree oil keeps the smell of the diaper pail down. Do I place the drops in the bottom of the PUL diaper liner/bag? Will the diapers that hit the oil first (at the bottom of the liner/bag) get stained by the oil? Any other suggestions for deoderizing a cloth diaper pail? I’ve heard of baking soda too.
Many babies are allergic to tea tree oil. Also, if you are using pocket diapers you don’t want any oils getting on them. I would steer clear of the tea tree oil.
Use baking soda or citrus circles to control odors in your diaper pail. Personally I hate citrus smells so I just use baking soda!
