Is there any way to remove olive oil stains from brown leather boots?
My wife spilled an olive oil based salad dressing all over my beloved brown leather chelsea boots. It’s left a couple of massive ugly stains… Is there any way to restore them to their former glory?
Unfortunately, leather is very absorbent. Your best bet is to oil the rest of the boot(s) to match with more of the same green-tinged oil. Use a rag and work quickly, wiping in a circular motion.
P.S. – Don’t be upset with your wife. She probably feels bad enough. Accidents happen–as we all know.
